Through his many years in the field, Steve Small has acquired experience dealing with a variety of different types of land preservation.

• Extensive consultation with government agencies and non-profits on a wide range of private land protection projects.
• Coordinating project teams on extensive and complex planning for maximum income tax benefits in connection with charitable contributions and bargain sales of high-value land and high-value conservation easements.
• Advising and planning for conservation buyers.
• Representing individual and corporate clients in structuring bargain sales of easements and land to conservation organizations and government agencies.
• Planning for charitable gifts and bargain sales to charity by S corporations owning land.
